The Niagara Woodworking Club is dedicated to the advancement of woodworking skills through collaboration and the sharing of knowledge. Hands-on sharpening stations: (Chisels; Plane Blade; handsaws; turning chisels; carving knives; regular knives) to try an array of stones, techniques and aids.

Hands-on scroll stations to try sImple, interior, and compound cutting, discover blade selections and review sample projects.

Power Carving

Representatives to present power carving systems, discs, and bits. Then, hands-on participation at several power carving stations with Dremel tools and Marathon Shapers.

Ethan Moore of Stockroom Supply demonstrates how to tune your bandsaw; special attachments and blades. Simple projects provided to try various bandsaws and blades.

Frequenly Asked Questions

Our meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month excluding July, August and December when we break for summer and for the Christmas holidays.  We meet at the North Pelham Community Hall located  at 1710 Maple Street in Fenwick.  Meetings run from 7 pm until 9 pm.

There is a yearly membership fee which is used towards keeping the club active.  We are a non profit organization.

Membership includes access to meetings, including special guest presentations, our monthly newsletters, event notifications, online access to meeting videos and club news and most importantly networking with other woodworking enthusiasts.

No, we do not sell any services or products.  Some members occassionally offer tools for private sale.  We meet to share our woodworking experience and skills.

No, we don’t offer any full classes.  We do have interactive demonstrations where you can learn specific techniques in a variety of woodworking disciplines.

No, we do not have a workshop for use.  We do bring tools and machines to some meetings to demonstrate their use where members can try them out.

No, we welcome artisans at any age.  As long as you can work a tool, you are welcome to join our club.

No, we welcome creators with any level of experience from beginner to professional.
